Top of the table Wolverhampton Sporting Community improved their title claims after coming from behind to beat Bewdley Town 3-1 at Ribbesford Meadow.

Luke Morris had fired fifth placed Bewdley into an early lead which they maintained  until the 72nd minutes when Sporting struck back.

Jonathan Letford levelled from a close range before Tom Hill hit home twice,  taking his league tally to 37 in the process as Sporting stay nine points clear of closest rivals Black Country Rangers and Malvern Town who remained locked together in second spot.

Halesowen based Black Country breezed to a 4-0 win over AFC Bridgnorth as Kieron James-Clarke, Kartel O’Neil-Martin, Shaquille Leachman-Whittingham and Jonathan Ashfall all found the target.

Malvern Town were equally impressive as they sunk Stone Old Alleynians 4-1. Dene Whittal-Williams fired Malvern into an eighth minute lead only for Sam Wilson to level just two minutes later.

Sam Rathbone soon restored Malvern’s lead before further goals from Josh Hunt and Matt Fusco sealed the points.

At the opposite end of the table Dudley Town threw themselves a relegation lifeline as they turned around a 1-0 deficit at half time to record a vital 3-1 win over Hereford side Wellington.

Lewis Worsey levelled matters on 70 minutes, Paul Henley then headed the Robins in front from a corner before a third goal by Jordan Davies completed the recovery.

Dudley Town  climb out of the bottom four as a result of this victory while next door neighbours Dudley Sports find themselves in real peril of relegation after being overwhelmed 6-0 by Ellesmere Rangers to remain second from bottom.

The only other Premier Division game to survive the wet weather saw Cradley Town clinch a 3-1 win following a cracking contest at Wolves Casuals.

Brad Sharman headed Casuals into an early lead following a free kick from leading marksman Liam Hughes.

Cradley levelled from  a Chris Rabone penalty after Brodie Williams had been brought down by Casuals goalkeeper Mark Brach.

Josh McKenzie put Cradley in front just before half time but Casuals looked destined to level again after Joe Drake-Cervantes brought down Jay Holdcroft just after the hour mark.

But Cradley  goalkeeper Jack O’Day shocked Casuals when he kept out the following Hughes penalty.

Cradley went onto wrap up the points in style when substitute Alex Harvey-Beach won possession on the half way line and drove forward before smashing home from 25 yards out.
