PHIL Male claims Dale’s future is bright following the announcement of Buildbase as the Club’s new Principle Sponsor until the summer of 2017.
The lucrative two year deal was announced at 08:00 this morning on tividalefc.com and @TiviFCofficial, and Buildbase’s logo will appear on all first team home and away shirts until the conclusion of the 2016-17 season.
Male, 36, joined Tivi alongside Joint Manager Ross Thorpe last month and ‘Spiller’ confirmed that sponsorship was very much on the agenda during their negotiations for the job.
He said: “When we came in to sit down with Leon and Steven, they made us aware of the exact situation that Tividale were in as a club at that given moment in time. They told us the facts – not fiction.
“But we were well aware of the work taking place to bring a new Principle Sponsor to the club, and Steven assured us that it would happen at some point.
“We put our faith in the club to deliver, and we never doubted them. This is a fantastic deal for the football club and it makes for a very exciting season ahead. No disrespect, but who will attract a bigger brand than Buildbase at this level?”
Buildbase have a track record of sport sponsorship, including Buildbase BMW Motorrad British Superbike team and Coventry Buildbase Bees Speedway team in the Elite League.
Ross Thorpe added: “Buildbase are a terrific brand and we’re lucky to have them here at Tividale.
“I look forward to meeting their staff in the near future, and I know the people here who have had dealings with them so far have been very impressed.”
