JAYNE Gallagher (on the right), a long standing member of Tividale Football & Social Club, has started treatment for cancer and has been informed by a specialist that she will lose her hair in due course.
Family friend, Lucy Taylor (on the left), has stated that she wishes to have a sponsored hair cut to raise as much money as possible throughout Tividale.
She will be donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust, a charity who provide real hair wigs free of charge to boys and girls across the UK who lose their own hair as a result of cancer treatment.
As the organisation will only accept a minimum of seven inches of hair, you can imagine how much Lucy will be having cut off.
So would all you kind folk sponsor our Lucy and with the money raised, purchase Jayne a real hair wig (which will cost between £400-£500).
If you want to watch Lucy’s great hair cut. It will take place at Coco Browns (situated at the junction of Regent Rd/Elm Terrace in Tividale) at 13:00 on Saturday, February 28th.
If you’d like to make a kind donation to Lucy, there are sponsorship forms in both Tividale Football & Social Club and Coco Browns.
Good luck, Lucy!
