Quite a routine From Communications Corner this week as we’ve had an extremely busy week without any categoric answers at the moment and I can’t say no more on that particular subject at this given time.
Two games over Bank Holiday Weekend as we entertain Lincoln United on Saturday and high flying Sutton Coldfield Town on Bank Holiday Monday.
It was disappointing that our first team game at Mickleover was postponed on Tuesday night but if any of you saw the Burton Albion game at the Pirelli Stadium on Monday night will be well aware of just how severe the rainfall in Derbyshire was.
I know that our coaching staff were disappointed because they were looking forward to giving Mickleover a game on Tuesday following our good display against Stocksbridge Park Steels last weekend, particularly as we’ve done very, very well against the top teams this season in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League, Division One South.
Of course this weekend is Easter as mentioned above and Tividale Academy are organising an event which you can find details of later today on tividalefc.com, so please try and attend as we’re looking forward to a family event for all.
Entertainment wise, keep an eye on tividalefc.com, @TiviFCofficial and our Facebook page for the upcoming artists but believe me we have an absolute pearler for you this weekend lined-up.
Some of you may remember The Who tribute band Quadrophonia from last year? Well they’re back.
They were absolutely fantastic last time around and I already know a few of you can’t wait for them to take to the stage.
My advice to you would be to get to here nice and early this weekend as we’re expecting abusy one on Saturday night from 20:00.
See you at the bar, Submariners!
Steven.
