It’s a little bit quiet this week at Tividale Football & Social Club, I have to say.

Trying to think of the reason?

Ah, yes, that’s it! Mr. Ross Thorpe is on a psychology course at St. George’s Park, Burton.

Only joking, Roscoe! Actually, talking of Ross Thorpe, I’d like to thank both Ross and Phil Male for attending our final Tividale Academy presentation last Friday evening; much appreciated.

All five of the presentation evening’s for the Academy have been extremely well organised and well attended.

Credit must go to Dave Simon for that because he worked extremely hard working on the presentation night’s weeks and weeks ago. Top job, Dave – well done!

So, how’re things progressing with the first team?

Well it goes without saying that everybody is working extremely hard. Both Ross and Phil are working all hours to try and build our squad for the new campaign.

As you will have seen, our initial pre-season plans are now in place. However, we’ve made one or two amendments to those details and we’ll announce the changes this afternoon at 15:00 on tividalefc.com.

Away from football, the Tividale Festival takes place here on Saturday, June 27th between 12:00 and 16:00. Full details of that event will be released on tividalefc.com sometime next week.

It was a great success last year and I’d like to thank Cllr Ian Cooper for his continued valuable contribution here at Tividale Football & Social Club.

Just a reminder about the ‘TEAM MAX’ Charity event the evening prior. Wacky Races, Karaoke & Disco taking place to raise funds for Maxine Smith who’s currently suffering from terminal cancer.

Finally, ‘TIVIDALE PRESENTS’ Kelly-Anne this coming Saturday night from 20:00. She’s popular, and she’ll guide you through your Saturday night with a smile 🙂

See you at the bar, Submariners!

Steven.
