ASSISTANT Manager Richard Colwell claims Tividale are in for a “tough test” when they travel to promotion chasing Gresley at The Moat tomorrow afternoon (KO 15:00).
Dale are now ten games unbeaten in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League, Division One South, and tomorrow will be their final away fixture this season.
Gresley were narrowly beaten by fellow promotion contenders Leek Town on Wednesday night and Colwell insists it’s going to be a difficult trip for Ian Long’s men.
He said “It’s going to be an extremely difficult game.
“Gresley suffered defeat on Wednesday night but they played very, very well and were unfortunate not to take anything from the game.
“We’ve a number of players missing tomorrow, and that’s unfortunate but we’re in good form so we’ll go there and apply ourselves in the way we do any other game.
“It’s a very tough place to play, the crowd are vocal. If we get any chances in front of goal then we need to take them.”
