Hellllooo again! How are we all? Hope you’re good!
Short and sweet (for once) from me this week; not a great deal new to tell, really.
I’m sure you’re all looking forward to tonight at Molineux, and hopefully we can bring home and retain the JW Hunt Cup against Stone Old Alleynians.
It will be a tough game, and although our counterparts play several leagues below us, we can’t underestimate their ability and I know Ian Long has prepared his team for this game like any other.
I’m sure you’re aware by now that tonight will be Ian’s final game in charge of Tividale, and I know he wishes to go out on a high, as do the rest of the coaching staff who will also be leaving us after this evening’s game.
If you’re not going to the game, you’ll be able to follow our MATCH LIVE coverage on our Twitter page, @TiviFCofficial.
The search for Ian’s successor continues, and I think we’re making good progress. We’ve had interest from some very good candidates and we are quite a long way down the line now.
We will be making our final decision over the weekend at the very latest. I’m certainly under no illusions as to how important it is that we get this decision correct and pre-season is not far away at all in reality.
Away from football, and again, not much to tell, really.
Good day in the Club on Saturday, and that once again showed the togetherness we have at this football club.
Yes, there was some banter flying around, mostly towards me (nothing new there, either) 🙂
Ted Wood, Terri Wood, Sam and the gang didn’t stop playing me up all afternoon, but it was a great day all the same and I look forward to my next verbal pelters 🙂
Just to remind you of ‘TEAM MAX’, and their fundraising climb on Saturday, June 13th. A group of friends, including our very own Julia Sorrow are raising money for Maxine Smith, who’s currently suffering from terminal cancer.
Regarding that event, I’d like to thank the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League for publicising the event on their social media pages, too.
Right, that’s it from me.
See you at Molineux, Submariners!
