Team Max are organising a fundraising climb on Saturday 13th June. 

The cost is £25 Per person and the coach will leave from Tividale Football & Social Club at 06:00

This is in aid of “Team Max” which is a fundraising team that a close group of friends are heading up to raise some money for Maxine Smith who is suffering from terminal cancer.

Maxine who is a mother of three has been fighting cancer for five years but just recently the doctors have given her the heartbreaking news that she hasn’t got long left.

All fundraising will go towards making Max’s last wishes come true which includes one of her long life ambitions which is a Sky Dive.

The path that will be taken up the mountain is the Snowdon Ranger Path

The path begins near the ‘Snowdon Ranger’ youth hostel, near Llyn Cwellyn. The path is the easiest path to take up the mountain hence this event is suitable for anybody in good health who wishes to join us.
John Morton the self proclaimed ‘Snowdon Ranger’ used the path to guide Victorian tourists to the summit. He also opened a tavern where the youth hostel site stands today, and called it the ‘Snowdon Ranger Inn.

Distance: 8 miles (there and back)

Total Climb: 936m (3,070 ft)

Time: Approx 6 hours (there and back)

Please come and join in with this worthy cause supported by Tividale Football and Social Club. It will be a fantastic day out and a massive achievement for everyone who joins in. The views from the summit are amazing.
