Manager Ian Long has today added strength to the Tividale squad with two midfield acquisitions.
Sam Rock, 27, is a wide player who spent almost ten years at Stourbridge FC before suffering a serious knee injury, and then impressing when returning to the game with Causeway United.
A name that will be more familiar to Tividale supporters is that of Ryan Winwood. The 19 year-old winger was a key part of Tividale’s 2013/14 double-winning season and returns following a spell under Richard Sneekes at Rushall Olympic.
Tividale manager Ian Long is delighted to have signed the two players. “Sam Rock is a super signing”, Long told us. “He has lots of experience at a higher level with Stourbridge, and we’re confident he can put his injuries behind him. Also, in Ryan Winwood we are delighted to welcome back a quality young player who still has a massive future in the game, and it’s great that he will progress with Tividale FC”.
Tividale’s next game is Northern Premier League game against Romulus FC tomorrow at Coles Lane, Sutton Coldfield.
