Steve Hole hammered home four goals as Shrewsbury side Haughmond swamped sorry Smethwick Rangers 8-0 at Brierley Hill. Further goals flew in from Matt Owen, Harry Morris, Scott Ryan together with a 25 yard rocket from full back George Carpenter.
The results keeps Haughmond hard on the heels of the leaders where Black Country Rangers returned to top spot after coming from behind to pull off a 2-1 win at Pegasus Juniors. Kyle Panniers had put the Hereford side 1-0 up at half time but Black Country clawed themselves back with two goals in as many minutes from Matt Vaughan and Liam Hughes.
Match of the day saw nine men Malvern Town hold top of the table Tividale to a 1-1 draw, Malvern had made all the early running as Harry Clark and then Curtis Smith both struck Tividale’s woodwork, while at the opposite end, goalkeeper Charlie Weaver did well to beat out Darragh Bustin’s goalbound shot. Malvern finally took the lead when Adam Sauntson headed home Louis Loader’s 47th minute free kick.
But in a dramatic twist, Malvern had firstly James Febery and then Curtis Smith sent off with 10 minutes still remaining.
Ben Birch then broke Malvern hearts when he bundled home a last gasp 94th minute equaliser following a corner.
Wolves Casuals cling to third place after producing an unconvincing 2-1 win over next-to-bottom Bilston Town, where goals from Scott Powell and Kieron Miller eventually claimed the points.
Rory Worthing rifled home a penalty to hand Hereford Lads Club a slender 1-0 win over Cradley Town. The Lads had further chances to increase the lead, but were kept at bay by Cradley goalkeeper Jake Parker.
Bewdley Town blitzed struggling Shawbury United 5-0. Debut boy Tom Smith soon made his presence felt with a goal after 13 minutes. Russ Godfrey rifled home a second goal just after the half hour mark before Matt Kerby put the game to bed with two goals in the space of two minutes at the start of second half exchanges. Smith struck his second goal on 61 minutes and Shawbury had to thank goalkeeper Alex Reed from preventing the floodgates from opening as he went onto pull off a string of fine saves.
The much awaited local derby between Dudley Town and Dudley Sports resulted with a dreary goalless draw.
Pershore Town remain perched in bottom spot after beaten 2-0 at home by AFC Bridgnorth while Herefordshire side Wellington helped themselves to a 2-0 win over newcomers Wem Town
